How do I know I can trust the people you send to my home?

We are very particular about who we hire.

Every Dubai Housekeeping™ team player undergoes a rigorous screening process that includes personal & professional background checks. Additionally, all Dubai Housekeeping™ team members are fully insured and bonded.

Our employees are all given top-notch training to meet our demanding standards, and we regularly conduct quality inspection checks. They have been extensively trained in Viral Transmission Mitigation Techniques.

Will I have any liability or need to pay any hidden charges, if I hire a housekeeper?

No. Dubai Housekeeping’s goal is to reduce the number of your responsibilities in life; certainly not add to them!

Most homeowners are unaware of the risks & legality of hiring independent cleaners, who often pass the liability for work-related injuries & legal consequences onto their clients.

As a professional cleaning service, we are responsible for all elements of our staff’s employment, including payroll and Workman’s Compensation in the event of an injury. The only thing you ever need to worry about is how we can best serve you.

How do I get started?

The first thing we will do is understand your expectations by discussing your individual cleaning needs, and to give you a free estimate.

We will provide you with a comprehensive list of our wide range of services, so that you may choose what you’d like us to do for you.

Together we will create a work order tailored to your specific requests, and you will receive a confirmation with details of service booked. This is not a contract, but merely another way to guarantee you our personalized, consistent and timely service.

How often should I have my home cleaned?

Dubai Housekeeping™ offers regular housecleaning on a weekly, bi-weekly and monthly basis.

In addition, we are available for special one-time cleans. These include move-in/move-outs, deep cleans, post construction cleans up, and occasional maintenance cleans for customers that just need a little extra help.

Our most popular visit is twice a week for 4 hours, one housekeeper, but we will schedule according to your needs.

Do I have to sign a contract?

Not necessarily. We are happy to earn your business each time we clean.

In case you would like set up a same crew on fixed day & time, at a discounted monthly plan, it is arranged with an agreement. You can suspend your service with just 1-day notice & resume when you are ready. You pay for only the service taken.

I have cleaning supplies. Do you furnish the cleaning supplies, in case I need them?

Most of our clients provide cleaning supplies. If need be, we also furnish cleaning supplies at an additional charge.

Do I have to be home when the cleaner comes?

It is recommended that you are present at the time of service however many of our busy customers provide us with a key to their home and, when necessary, alarm codes so our crew can execute the service without you having to alter your plan. We keep your keys and access information extremely secure. We leave this up to you, whatever you feel most comfortable with.

What should I expect on my first appointment?

We will arrive at your home on scheduled day & time. We will understand your expectations and chart a befitting plan. Your first appointment generally takes the longest, as we will need time to get acquainted with a new environment. Subsequent appointments will move along faster.

What is Ecological Green Clean Service?

We support Green & Clean Earth. We use certified ecological cleaning materials from our range of products which are designed to preserve human health. This is particularly recommended for home with children or to those who are allergic to certain chemicals.

Will I always have the same house cleaner?

We want you to enjoy the kind of continuity in your service that allows you to never think twice about it. We make every effort to send the same cleaner to your home for each visit.

Our goal is to provide you with consistency no matter what; even if circumstances demand a staffing change. Every employee is extensively trained to utilize the same efficient, effective cleaning techniques.

We begin our relationship with you by ensuring customized work order for your needs, so that you can always count on receiving the same great, personalized service to which you’re accustomed.

What if something in my home gets damaged?

In the unfortunate event that a breakage occurs, we will promptly make every effort to have the item repaired or replaced, please notify us within 24 hours of the cleaning date.  Our liability limits are set at a maximum of 200% of your one-time service fee.

In the event the damage is not within that limit, we will initiate claim through insurance channel according to the procedure. Items excluded from liability are: cash, jewellery, one-of-a-kind items or hard to get items; items of sentimental value, art, antiques and electronics.

Do you guarantee your work?

Absolutely. We have a 100% satisfaction guaranteed policy.

Our goal is to give you the best cleaning possible each time. If something is not done to your satisfaction, call us within 24 hours and we will correct it for free, or give you a credit on your next clean.

How do I pay for my cleaning?

For On-call service, payment is due the day the service is performed. You may pay by cash, check, online transfer, Visa, or Mastercard, T & C apply.

Many customers leave cash on their kitchen table or countertop. For your convenience, if you prefer paying by credit card, let us know & we can make arrangement for that too.

Clients with My Maid plan, pay before the start of the month. Please contact us for more details.

Do you offer gift certificates?

Yes, we do! Dubai Housekeeping™ makes a great gift, whether it’s for Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day, a birthday or anniversary, or even to help a friend through a difficult time. Whatever the occasion, our gift certificates can be sent straight to the recipient or to you, digitally. Contact us for information.

What if I have a pet?

Pets are not a problem. We do need to be notified if you own pets, and we like to know their names. If you have any special requests regarding your pets, or there are any special circumstances we should be aware of, we will want this information to be included on your work order.

Should I tip my cleaner?

Tips for our cleaners are neither expected nor required. Leaving them a simple note letting them know how well they did, will mean a lot to them. Our cleaners want to know that their work met or exceeded your expectations. However, if you do wish to leave a tip, you can include it with the service payment and they will receive as intended.

What if my cleaning schedule falls on a holiday?

If your scheduled cleaning falls on a holiday, we will contact you approximately one week in advance to reschedule. Our office observes the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Eid Holidays &National Day.

Can I hire one of your cleaning professionals directly?

Our employees are not available for direct hire. A great deal of time and resources is put into hiring our staff.

Each employee signs a contract with us agreeing not to solicit or accept direct employment from any of our customers for a period of two years from the date that employee last worked for Dubai Housekeeping™.
