Preventive Measures to Avoid Infection

Summer & school brings a bout of illness. Usually the complaints are of common cold and cough, runny nose, fever, and sore throat. Summer is the most vulnerable time for the human body since the weather helps spread of infections. Also, children starting school bring in newly emerging infections.

You can avoid the aggravation of these ailments by taking simple preventive measures and making your surrounding clean. You can hire a cleaning service too.

A.    Consume natural Vitamin C products such as Oranges, Ginger tea, Lime Juice, etc.

B.     Drink warm fluids and avoid cold drinks.

C.     Practice doing warm saline gargles

D.    Do steam inhalation for nasal block cases & chest congestion

E.     Isolate yourself from those who are infected

F.     Always cover your mouth while coughing or sneezing

G.    Practice good personal hygiene & wash your hands properly

H.    Keep yourself and the temperature around warm, but not hot. Excess heat will lead to sweating, further making you prone to sickness & dehydration

I.       Stay Hydrated

J.       Eat a healthy balanced diet

K.     Get adequate rest and de-stress yourself
