One of the first steps we took was to expedite the payment of salaries, ensuring that our team members had timely access to funds for their personal and familial needs. This small yet impactful change demonstrated our commitment to easing financial burdens and fostering a sense of security within our workforce.

As the situation gradually improved, we shifted our focus towards recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance. Instead of dwelling on policy infractions, we initiated monthly awards and rewards to celebrate the achievements of our team members, particularly the cleaners in the field. The introduction of digital certificates and cash incentives served as tangible symbols of appreciation, motivating our employees to strive for excellence.

Furthermore, inspired by a valuable suggestion from one of our team members, we introduced monthly meetups to facilitate deeper connections and camaraderie among colleagues. Through the formation of smaller groups, each led by a designated “Tanod” or officer, we fostered a sense of accountability and mutual support akin to a nurturing “mother bird” and her offspring.

As our team members embraced their roles as mentors and nurturers, we recognized the importance of personal development beyond professional realms. Hence, we embarked on a journey of continuous learning and growth, incorporating topics such as healthcare, money management, and mental well-being into our training programs.

That’s why we’ve implemented comprehensive training programs that cover a range of topics, from leadership skills to personal development.
